This is a miscarriage of justice and cries out for review by an appellate court. The charge doesn't match the offense AND mitigating circumstances aren't duly considered. If I was on the jury - he'd walk free.

Is it too much to hope for that this constitutional amendment will guarantee that children have the right to a meaningful relationship with BOTH parents? It seems that far too frequently the term "children's rights" is used as an excuse to perpetuate the anti-father bias of family courts around the world. Children need and have the right to, both a mother and a father - not just a mother as the pro-feminist courts of the world would like.

Crate stuff! ];) Needs a lot of bottle to drive this? The speed is capped too! Ideal for short hops, though! The rider was bitter when this was confiscated, I'll bet. Nice seat - able to accommodate a stout rider?

Two official EU documents from DG Environment have warned about exaggerating the dangers of cycling. One of the reports, "Kids on the move" specifically mentions helmets for cyclists as a misguided approach to cyclists safety. The World Health Organisation has published several report confirming that cyclists live longer than those that do not cycle for transport. It is now getting recognised slowly in road safety circles that helmet laws did not reduce head injuries in Australia, New Zealand or Nova Scotia, Canada. The downward trend existed before helmet laws, and was virtually the same in pedestrians. If any Austrian politician reads this, please contact the European Cyclists' Federation, ECF, for further pointers and research reports. http://ecf.com/3500_1 office@ecf.com Also see the Wikipedia article on "Bicycle helmet" for lots of references. Or cyclehelmets.org for critiques of various studies It would be counter-productive to force cyclists in Austria to wear helmets. Such laws have recently been stopped in France, Norway, UK. Worse still if laws restricting a healthy and green means of transport are based on incomplete and partly false information.
