A group of Avatar obsessed Chinese artists are cashing in after making two giant sculptures of the main characters in the film out of mud - and charging locals to look at them after the movie was banned by Chinese officials.
The China Film Group, which is run by the state, believes the plot of human colonists attempting to demolish an alien village for its resources could cause political unrest.
Millions of Chinese people have been evicted from their homes to make room for high rises and government infrastructure projects.
Avatar's success has also angered some Chinese officials, who fear the film's popularity takes too much market share from their domestic films.
But that has been good news for the 15 jobless Chinese sculptors who spent 10 days completing the two 3-meter-tall Avatar sculptures made of 4-tonnes of mud in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province.
Zheng Gui, the local sculptor who came up the idea, said he was quite inspired by the strong visual impact of the Avatar movie figures that he managed to watch before it was banned.
"I called on 14 friends, and we made two figures: the Avatar and N'avi princess," said Zheng.
He then painted them to make them look more real.
