Shoes that girl´s 10k GBP stilettos

A pair of singer Madonna's designer shoes raised 10,000 GBP to help gipsy children at a charity auction in Romania.

The star donated a pair of her favourite Christian Dior stilettos to the sale staged by Hollywood actor Ethan Hawke's mother Leslie.

Madonna was booed by crowds during her Sticky and Sweet world tour show in Romania for urging more tolerance for gays and gypsies.

A gold chain donated by British actress Canessa Redgrave raised 5,000 GBP in the auction.

Training Day star Ethan said of Madonna: "She transcended being a pop star. She drew international attention and shone the spotlight on a level of racism and the need for greater education.

"I don't have an agenda, Madonna doesn't have an agenda. We aren't politicians."
