A twisted actor is to star in a sick theatre play based on the ordeal of incest monster Josef Fritzl's victims.
The play - titled "Pension Fritzl" (Guesthouse Fritzl) - will star Austrian actor Hubert 'Hubsi' Kramar who was once arrested when he turned up at a high society ball dressed as Adolf Hitler.
Organisers say the production is a satire on the Austrian society which allowed the dungeon demon to thrive.
But those closest to his daughter Elisabeth - kept for 24 years as a sex slave below the family home in Amstetten, Lower Austria - say she is shocked by the stunt.
"What happened to Elisabeth is no laughing matter. It upsets her that anyone could think what happened to her is a suitable subject for entertainment," said one family friend.
Kramar joked that the audience will get to know "not only Herr Fritzl, but also Fritzl the son, Fritzl the daughter and the Fritzl monster" in the play which will be staged at Vienna’s independent "3raum-anatomietheater" from 23 February. Kramar claimed celebrities will give surprise guest performances.
Kramar was arrested after dressing up as Hitler for Vienna’s prestigious Opera Ball in 2000. He claimed he wanted to show his disagreement with Austria’s right-wing government.
Fritzl, 73, has been charged with murder, rape, slavery, incest, imprisonment and abuse - charges that could see him behind bars for the rest of his life.
The trail is expected to take place before Easter this year.
His daughter Elisabeth bore seven children by father - one of whom he is accused of killing by failing to get medical help when the boy was born with breathing difficulties. An eighth child was miscarried.
