Celebrity polar beat Knut finally looks like he's warming to his new mate Gianna after more than a month together.
Relations were distinctly frosty when two-year-old Knut was introduced to his first girlfriend in Berlin zoo, Germany, and immediately gave her the cold shoulder.
But delighted keepers have seen the couple swapping passionate bear hugs and romping together in their enclosure.
Head keeper Heiner Kloes said: "They are getting along better and better but they are both still virgins.
"Neither of them are properly sexually mature yet so we're very happy that at this stage they're content with lots of cuddles."
