A twit-twoo
A nervous householder has apologised after starting a full scale police alert for an intruder - which turned out to be an owl stuck in his chimney.
Firemen in Essen, Germany, removed the sooty tawny owl and released it back into the wild.
"It was making a terrible racket and I was sure it was someone in our home," said Dieter Klum, 35.
"I felt a complete idiot when I saw those huge eyes looking at me through the glass in the stove," he added.
