Wuff treatment

A brutal biker who dragged his pet dog by a chain from his motorbike at more than 40mph is being hunted by furious animal lovers in China.

This astonishing photo - uploaded on the internet by shocked witnesses - shows what appears to be a police officer or soldier torturing the badly injured dog in Fuzhou, eastern China.

Motorist Liu Wong - who took the snap - said: "I rolled down my car window and asked the man to stop but he sped up and drove away."

"The dog couldn't bark because of the chains around its neck, and its four legs were all bloody. He was going pretty fast, about 40 miles per hour," he added.

Now animal lovers have joined a nationwide internet hunt for the dog's owner.

"We must find him and make sure he pays for his crime and his cruelty," said one.
