Drunk Maciej Kowalski, 46, was arrested after trying to force his girlfriend to shoot a box of matches off his head with a high-powered air rifle, say police in Podkarpackie, Poland.

The boozy reveller - who was detained while trying to set fire to his hair - told terrified Lydia Adamska, 37, he'd beat her up if she missed.
