Benefits cheat Crispino Ricci who claimed his aunt's pension for two months after she died has been arrested on fraud charges in Benevento, Italy, after neighbours complained about the air fresheners he had used to cover the smell of her body.
The 43-year-old suspect - who wrapped the corpse in a plastic sheet and used plug-in air fresheners to hide the smell at the woman's flat - is said to have swindled more than 2,000 GBP since his 87-year-old aunt died, say prosecutors.
