Polish Breiviks Quarter Ton Bombs
The terrifying arsenal of bombs built by a terror suspect believed to be planning an Anders Breivik-style slaughter have been put on show by police in Krakow, Poland.
The haul - seized from the home of a middle-aged university worker - included more than a quarter of a ton of explosives, including Hexogen T$, the highest grade of military plastic explosive.
Other items included detonators, mobile phone bomb triggers, firearms and live ammunition, said prosecutor Mariusz Krason.
The terror suspect - identified only as Brunon K by officials - is said to have been under surveillance by the Polish secret service for weeks before he was seized.
Officials say he had made reconnaissance visits to government buildings in Warsaw.
He is understood to have studied the area around Poland's parliament, as well as the route marked out for President Bronislaw Komorowski's Independence Day march earlier this month.

Poisoned eagle is recovering
An eagle is currently being treated in the bird of prey park Telfes, Tyrol (Western Austria). The animal ate the carcass of a dead animal that was shot with lead ammunition. The eagle is likely to survive the contamination.
Football manager Adi Hütter charged with tax evasion
The manager of the football team SV Scholz Grödig (Salzburg state), which will be promoted the Austrian Premier League, will have to go to court this week. He is accused of tax evasion and of having cooperated with the architect Markus Voglreiter.
Opening date of Pyramidenkogel kept secret
In order to prevent a mass rush on the new tower at Pyramidenkogel in Carinthia (Souther Austria), the opening date will be announced at short notice. The attraction is expected to open in the middle of June.
