This Russian man gave a new meaning to picking up a date after he ended up captivated by a pole dancer he had seen at a strip club in the Russian capital Moscow.
Video footage shows how Sidor Borodin, 41, waited outside the club for dancer Zoe Pavlova, 24, to come out, and then he simply stuffed her under his arm and walked off to his car.
The dancer had finished her shift of topless dancing at the club and was on her way home with a blonde female friend when she was approached by her admirer.
Although the colleague immediately called club security the kidnapper, a towering six foot man who had no problems carrying the struggling woman under his arms, simply ignored them and pushed Zoe into his car before driving off.
He had taken her home for a private performance, and to get to know her better, but after getting repeated phone calls from the owner of the strip club, who knew who he was and had his telephone number, he was persuaded to let the young woman go.
Borodin was apparently a club regular but had been particularly captivated by the new dancer and had decided to pick her up after she finished her shift.
He was later arrested by police who said they were investigating and were waiting to interview the woman to find out what to charge him with, based on what she said.
