Hollywood superstars - and their children - are being recreated as Disney princesses.
Indonesian graphic designer Thomas Kurniawan combined his imagination with his own photo-manipulation skills to create a selection of convincing live-action Disney Princess "movie posters" to replace the animated versions.
Kurniawan said: "I'd love to see these animated characters played by real stars and it is a hobby of mine to match some of them to their fictional doubles. Some don't work, I tried Angelina Jolie as Princess Elsa of Arendelle from Frozen, but she actually worked much better as Pocahontas. Sometimes I had to go to more obscure stars as well to get a match but the final version is always worth the effort - half the job is finding the right double."
His film covers include Katy Perry as Snow White, Scarlett Johansson as the blonde Elsa, princess of Arendelle from Frozen, Emma Watson as The Little Mermaid, Taylor Swift as Cinderella and Amanda Seyfried as the arrow shooting heroine princess Merida from the film Brave.
Naya Rivera appeared as the original Pocahontas but then Kurniawan thought Angelina Jolie would be better suited. Jake Gyllenhaal is the male love interest in Tangled and Lucy Liu is Fa Mulan in the film Mulan. And finally Tom Cruise's daughter Suri as Sofia the First.
The 13 enchanting princesses (if you include Frozen’s Anna and Elsa) are arguably one of the biggest franchises among Western animation films, widely loved by children and adults all around the world.
