Jail For Tongue Rapist

Jail For Tongue Rapist

A Romanian man has been jailed for raping a girl - with his tongue.

A court in his homeland heard how Marius Cornel Andrei, 25, from Iasi, in eastern Romania, tried to rape his victim but found himself unable to perform.

So he performed oral sex upon her and was jailed for rape because it penetrated her. He was sentenced to four years and ten months in jail when he appeared before a judge in his hometown last week.

The court heard how he was intoxicated when he spotted the attractive female student on a side street. "I only intended to steal her mobile telephone," he said. "But something took a hold of me when I was near her.

"She fell to the ground and I decided to satisfy my sexual appetite there and then. I undressed her but I could not get an erection so I performed oral sex on her. I am sorry for my actions."

Police said he fled the scene with the woman's purse and mobile telephone. It turned out that he had been working in Norway and had only been home for a month when the attack took place in December last year.

In fact he had just walked his girlfriend home, and was on his way home himself when the attack happened.

He was caught a month after the attack at the home of his girlfriend. She has now left him.

The rapist has a right to appeal his sentence. His victim gave a statement to the court in which she spoke of her "degradation and humiliation" at his hands.
