Tyrol climber falls 200 metres to his death

A Tyrol man fell 200 metres to his death yesterday (Mon) while climbing near Eben am Achen Lake in Schwaz district.
The man, 52, was climbing unsecured up the Haidachstellwand mountain wall when he lost his balance and fell.
Rescuers were called out by other hikers who saw the fall but an emergency doctor who examined the man said he died almost immediately from severe injuries to his skull and spine.
