Pensioner goes missing in Salzburg

By David Rogers

Police have launched a search for a 78-year-old man who went missing in Salzburg’s Flachgau yesterday (Thurs) morning.

The pensioner’s wife said she had last seen him at around 6:30am at their house in St. Georgen and cops are combing nearby woods which she said he liked to walk in.

Officers said the man had complained about circulatory problems earlier in the week.

The man is 1.70 metres tall and weighs 65 kilos. He has grey hair and a ruddy complexion and was last seen wearing jeans and a long-sleeved grey shirt.
