Drunk climber hurt in fall

A drunk German was left in hospital after he plunged 40 metres as he climbed a mountain yesterday (Sun) evening in Carinthia.
Police said the man, 28, was descending the Wöllaner Nock when he fell 400 metres above the Geiger hut in a steep, rocky area at about 8pm.
He was taken to Villach provincial hospital for treatment.
