A 37-year-old hit and run drink driver was arrested after causing two accidents in the space of a single afternoon in Carinthia yesterday (Mon).
The man from Arriach in Villach Land district ploughed into a car in Molzbichl in Spittal and der Drau district leaving a 65-year-old Dutchman severely injured and his wife and son hurt before speeding off and later crashing into a lorry driven by a 59-year-old German.
Local police who caught him after the second accident said the man was almost three times over the drink drive limit.
