Man on probation arrested for burglary in Styria

By William Green

A 20-year-old released from prison on probation two months ago has been arrested with two other crooks after they carried out a string of burglaries in Styria, police have said.

Judenburg police said today (Weds) they had arrested two unemployed men aged 16 and 20 last Sunday after a break-in. The pair then confessed to a series of burglaries with a 39-year-old accomplice, who was later arrested, that had netted them 10,000 Euros and caused 10,000 Euros in damages to cars, tobacco shops and other stores.

The 20-year-old has been sent back to Leoben prison where he was serving his original sentence.
