A 34-year-old German worker has been hospitalised after plunging four metres down a ventilation shaft.
Authorities in Eggelsberg in Upper Austria’s Braunau district said the man from Landshut, Bavaria, injured his legs and arms in the incident yesterday (Thurs).
In a similar earlier this week in the province a 17-year-old plumber suffered serious injuries when he fell into a manhole – just minutes after he had opened it up in Unterach am Attersee.
