Toddler plunges two metres as shaft cover gives in

Police are investigating after a two-year-old fell down a shaft when its cover broke under his weight.

Police in Baden, Lower Austria, said today (Mon) the boy suffered light injuries in the incident.

They added he had been walking with his mother when the accident occurred on Friday.
