A 43-year-old construction worker was killed when he fell from the fourth floor of a house in Vienna-Simmering yesterday morning (Mon).

Police said Franz F. from Mistelbach, Lower Austria, died instantly from head injuries as he slipped and plummeted into the house’s inner courtyard in Rautenstrauchgasse.

Meanwhile a 27-year-old worker was hospitalised yesterday afternoon after landing on concrete after falling five metres while doing renovation work at a house in Neunkirchen, Lower Austria.
