Collapsing scaffold injures builder
A builder was seriously injured yesterday (Weds) when a 1.7 metre high scaffolding he was standing on collapsed, police said.
The 56-year-old temporary worker was applying plaster to the wall of a building at a construction site in Vitis in Lower Austria’s Waidhofen an der Thaya when the collapse happened. The reason are as yet unknown.
The man was taken to a hospital in Horn.
