Drunk German reporting ski theft loses driver's licence
A 36-year-old drunk who drove to a police station in Salzburg’s Obertauern yesterday morning (Sun) to report a ski theft wound up being arrested.
Police said they smelled alcohol on the German man’s breath as soon as he walked in and decided to give him a blood alcohol test, which showed he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.82 promille.
Police promptly confiscated his driver’s licence. He now faces charges of drunk driving.
