Police arrested five Romanians suspected of having injured and robbed a car dealer yesterday (Mon) in Ansfelden in Upper Austria’s Linz-Land district.
Police said two Romanian men and a Romanian woman had gone to the dealership in the morning under the pretext of wanting to buy a used car.
Instead, they attacked the dealer with pepper spray and hit him in the head with a shock absorber, seriously injuring him. They took his cash and mobile-telephone and fled.
Police arrested the two men, 34 and 37 years old, soon thereafter. Yesterday evening, they arrested the woman who had sprayed the dealer and two other members of the gang who had waited outside the dealership during the robbery.
The dealer was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
