Pensioner dies after four-metre tree fall
A 75-year-old man died after falling from a tree in Ferlach, Carinthia, yesterday (Tues).
Local authorities said today the pensioner had been busy cutting branches when he slipped and fell four metres to the ground.
A neighbour spotted the accident and called an emergency team, but the man died before the C11 rescue helicopter could arrive. Officials said an autopsy is to be carried out later this week.
