Easter for kids at the Schönbrunn Palace

The children's museum at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna is putting on a special Easter Bunny hunt for young people to take part in over the holiday.

From 5 April children can take part in a search around the grounds of the museum to find hidden Easter Bunnies where, once found, they will receive a special small gift.

Those who take part in the search on 16 April will also be helped out that day by the palace ghost Poldi, a treat for any child who wants to meet and maybe even touch a real ghost.

Also taking place over Easter at the museum are Poldi's Easter workshops for children aged 5-years and over. Accompanied by an adult , children can take part in these craft workshops to create and decorate their own Easter 'sweet hen', 'log lamb' or 'rabbit egg cup'. This year, a craft making kit can also be bought to take away so the creativity can continue at home over Easter.

Taking part in the workshop costs 4,90 EUR and they are taking place until 19 April, between 13:00-17:00 Monday to Fridays. On Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and between 12 and 19 April the workshops are open a bit longer, from 10:00 to 17:00.
