Free beer kicks off Kirtag Festival at Rathaus

Vienna’s Rathausplatz, the square in front of the City Hall will host the city’s "Kirtag" Festival this weekend.

From June 6th until June 9th visitors can expect live music, food and drink stalls, tombola’s, fair attractions with games for young and old.

The festival celebrates Vienna’s culture and entertainment and will see well-known Viennese singers performing on the main stage.

On June 6th Andy Lee Lang performs at 19:00 and is followed by Rainhard Fendrich on June 7th at 20:00, June 8th sees a concert by OPUS at 20:00 and then Birgit Denk on June 9th.

The festival kicks off with free beer on offer at 13:00 on Friday and there will be the local original Sautanz Musi will be played.

Last year over 300,000 people visited the four-day-festival. The festival takes place from June 6th to June 9th from 10:00 until 23:00.
