Pensioner´s watch worth €50,000 stolen in Villach

A 63-year-old woman was missing a precious watch after taking it off and leaving it in a locker room during a 40-minute therapy session at a rehab centre in Villach, police in Carinthia said yesterday (Thurs).
Days passed before the pensioner informed police of the theft as she had not been aware how much the object was worth. But when relatives told the woman from Wiener Neustadt the rare watch was worth an estimated 50,000 Euros, she headed to her local police station to report the incident.
Cops are looking for the crooks but say chances of finding them are low since there were no witnesses to the theft.
