Lazy drunk facing jail after ambulance call

By Thomas Hochwarter

A lazy drunk is facing six months in jail after he called an ambulance to give him a lift home for the pub.

Styrian police said today (Mon) the man was more than four times over the legal drink drive limit when he call an ambulance in the early hours of Sunday morning after boozing at a pub in Neumarkt.

But medics called cops after they found he only had a cut finger and, when questioned, the man admitted he had injured himself deliberately and wanted an ambulance because he could not be bothered to walk home.

He is now facing a fine or up to six months in prison.
