What's on at the Burgkino this weekend?

By Thomas Hochwarter

A new spy comedy starring Matt Damon heads the bill this weekend at Vienna’s Burgkino where all films on offer are screened in their original English versions.

The Hollywood superstar revealed he hoped shooting THE INFORMANT! would never end – because he had to gain a lot of weight for his role.

Damon teamed up with Steven Soderbergh, who won an Oscar for the 2000 drug-trafficking drama "Traffic", for the film.

Also on at the Burgkino are acclaimed horror movie PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, Coco Chanel biopic COCO AVANT CHANEL, JULIE & JULIA starring Meryl Streep, Disney-Pixar’s UP, WWII satire INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS, Michael Jackson-themed THIS IS IT and black and white espionage classic THE THIRD MAN.

The Burgkino is located at Opernring 19 in Vienna’s Innere Stadt district. Go to www.burgkino.at or call +43 1 587 84 06 for starting times.
