Bluesman Theessink confirmed for Rockin' Christmas 2009

Legendary blues singer and guitarist Hans Theessink has been confirmed as the star guest at an upcoming Christmas-themed rock night.

The Vienna-based Dutchman – who spends most of the year touring – will join Austrian group Andy Lee Lang & The Spirit on stage at the "15 years of Rockin’ Christmas" festival on 2 December at the Stadthalle Vienna, it was confirmed today (Mon).

Organisers said Theessink and Lang are set to perform their song "Lonely Days and Lonely Nights", which has already become a radio hit. Tickets for the event are on sale as of now.

It was also announced today that Theessink – who has recorded 22 albums to date – will play four concerts at Vienna’s Jazzland club in January next year.
