Scottish nurse inherits brothel in Austria
A Scottish nun inherited a booming brothel from her deceased Austrian mother, it has been revealed.
Viennese genealogist Nicolas Forster told the Kronen Zeitung newspaper: "We were contacted when Linda K. died at the age of 75 in Styria. We discovered she had some fortune, but no husband and apparently no relatives."
Forster found out the woman, who was touring with a circus, had handed her baby to a Scottish orphanage soon after giving birth in the country.
He said the 55-year-old woman, who now lives as a nun near Glasgow, already decided to sell the brothel, located in the province of Styria, and donate the turnover to poor children in India.
