A second Austrian concert date by Bob Dylan has been revealed.
The singer-songwriter icon will not only perform in Linz, Upper Austria, on 12 June, but is also set to hit the stage in Dornbirn in Vorarlberg province on 19 June, according to Dylan’s official website, www.bobdylan.com
Tickets for the shows are not yet on sale.
Other opportunities for Austrian fans to see the legendary artist live will be his concert in Belgrade, Serbia, on 6 June, in the Croatian capital Zagreb the next day, in Bratislava, Slovakia, on 9 June, his show in Prague, Czech Republic, on 11 June and his gig in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 13 June.
Meanwhile Britishrock.cc reports American rock band Papa Roach and Brit jazz-rock legends will head the bill at the Picture On festival in Bildein, Burgenland, which will take place for a tenth time this year on 13 and 14 August.
Crossover pioneers Faith No More will perform at the Forestglade festival in Wiesen, Burgenland, which will take place on 16 and 17 July. The event’s bill will also feature dance punk stars Gossip and German hip hoppers Die Fantastischen Vier.
British crooner Elton John is meanwhile set for two Austrian live dates this summer. The "Rocket Man" will hit the stage in Linz on 19 June before playing in at the Schwarzl Lake near Graz, Styria, the next night.
