Soaring demand for anti-burn out lectures
Interest in anti-burn out courses is on the rise, it has been reported.
Styrian officials said today (Tues) the number of classes dealing with the subject soared from just two in 2005 to 24 last year. They added it was likely the number of courses will be increased to match rising interest.
More than 3,800 Styrians attended the 111 lectures held on stress prevention methods in 2009.
Bernhard Koller of the Volkshochschule adult education authority – which organises the majority of courses on offer – said increasing pressure at work has caused diseases which did not exist 20 years ago.
