European Truck Racing Championship Back At Spielberg In Summer

The European Truck Racing Championship is making a stop in the Alpine Republic once again this year.

From July 4th – 6th 2014 drivers of the trucks will take to the track at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg in the Austrian province of Styria for the renowned race.

Last year the Championship made a stop in Austria for the first time in ten years and the successful event attracted over 25,000 fans and there was plenty on offer including stunt shows, a trucker camp, exhibitions and concerts as well as the race itself.

Every year more than 800,000 people visit the FIA Truck Racing Championships.

Over the race meet four races will take place with some of Europe’s best driver’s competing for victory.  Meanwhile  people will battle it out to join the European Strongman Elite in the strongman contest pulling lorries, lifting cars throwing tyres and lifting heavy cases.

In addition a series of truck parades, concerts including a live concert by country star Tom Astor will take place to keep the crowd entertained.
