Croatia announces footballers to train in Austria

Croatian national football team coach Niko Kovac has announced the final list of 27 players to take to the preparation training in Bad Tatzmannsdorf in Austria before the World Cup.

It is the third time in six years that the Burgenland resort has been chosen by the Croatian footballers as the preparation ground for a major tournament.

The team will be in Bad Tatzmannsdorf from 23 May, travelling to Brazil on 3 June for the World Cup.

Those who have been dropped from the previous list of 30 people include Ivo Ilicevic of HSV who is not playing due to injury problems. There will also be delayed arrivals of Luka Modric and Niko Kranjcar because of game commitments in their clubs. The full list is:
