Free entry with free card in Salzburg

The travel desk has had a reminder for anybody hoping to finally start to enjoy the summer weather which has arrived very late this year that the free "Seenland Card" is still available and valid until the end of September.

The card can be picked up for free at all of the following locations by looking here  which is a total of 57 different locations.

It entitles holders to either free entry or reduced entry at dozens of locations across the Salzburg Seenland region which includes the Wallersee, Mattsee, Grabensee and Obertrumersee.

Places included in the offer free are the animal farm Gut Aiderbichl - the famous animal charity which is now behind the rescue efforts for the escaped cow in Germany, and also Europe's longest slide at the Europarutsche Hochseilpark in Seeham.

Among the culinary offers are the Trumer Bierwelt with a beer tasting in Obertrum as well as the Salzburg cheese world in Schleedorf.

There are also free swimming pool places and minigolf tickets.

Reduced prices are offered at the adventure park at Strasswalchen and the children's paradise in Vulcanino in Köstendorf.
