New Year’s Eve in the sign of love: The 42nd Imperial Ball in Hofburg Palace on 31 December. Under the motto "Aspects of Love", romantic melodies by great musical composers such as Andrew Lloyd Webber and Leonard Bernstein will accompany you throughout the evening. At the opening, stage star Maya Hkvoort sings the song "I belong only to me" from the musical "Elisabeth". A new study of the Medical University of Vienna shows that separated rooms in gastronomy are not effective in regards to smoking. The Institute of Environmental Hygiene measured the effect of ultrafine dust particles on the health of non-smokers in 134 bars and restaurants in Vienna.
