This cat has become a star in Russia -- by impersonating a Russian soldier and standing to attention every time the national anthem is played. The cat's owner Oleg Bouboulin, 34, said: "I can only assume she's been watching the parades out the window because we don't have a TV. When I first heard the anthem on the radio and saw her at the same time I realised she really was standing to attention. I called my girlfriend on the phone and she didn't believe me, then when she came home I played the anthem again on my mobile phone and she had to admit it was the truth." His girlfriend Yana Roukinova, 32, then took a video of the Russian anthem loving cat, which shows how the pet instantly snapped to attention and stays without moving a muscle while the anthem plays. She even knows when it is expecting to end, and relaxes as the final notes played. Although Yana had a different interpretation. She said it was clear the cat could not understand why its owner did not stand to attention with the proper respect for the anthem was playing, and instead sat in bed laughing. She said: "Oleg made her uncomfortable." The video of the cat called Margo has been a hit in Russia, with most people posting the comment: "Don't show this to the Americans."
