This is the moment when a tractor went out of control on a level crossing, and a woman leapt for her life. Pavel Likovitch, 65, lost control of his vehicle on the crossing in the town of Millerovo in western Russia's Rostov Oblast. It began moving backwards towards a line of cars, the first of which contained driver Mihail Groukov, 48, and his wife Elena, 44. The dashboard camera on the car behind caught her amazing leap to safety - but her husband wasn't quick enough. He suffered multiple injuries in the crash, including crushed ribs, a broken leg and severe cuts and bruises. His car was scrunched into the vehicle behind by the force of the impact and other motorists rushed to his aide to pry him free from the wreckage of his car. Alexander Kuryakin, the driver of the other car that was damaged, said: "I don't know what happened in the tractor but it began moving backwards and then picked up speed as the cars were driving up hill towards the level crossing. "There was a terrific bang when the impact occurred. At first I thought the driver in the first car was dead. Luckily he survived but he wont be doing any driving for some time." Police are probing the crash.
