A bra that moisturises a woman's breasts every time she wears it has been created by a Spanish firm.
The bra is made with a special fibre impregnated with nanoparticles that moisturise the skin of the breast when the woman wears it.
And one of the developers, Marisol Sanchez Jodar, 36, said: "By moisturising the skin it also makes it healthier and firmer, improving the shape of the breast and slowing the signs of ageing."
She came up with the idea together with her sister Juana Maria Sanchez Jodar, 34, and pal Gloria Martin, 35, after the three discussed how much time it took putting cream on their breasts.
Marisol said: "It's cold, and takes ages to do, and I thought there must be a better way to do this?"
The three, from the town of Lorca, in the south-eastern Spanish province of Murcia, then came up with the idea of a moisturising bra, and decided to make the idea reality.
Marisol was the only one who had a job, working for the local town council, and she added: "We thought it was crazy that so many people had no work, but that there was the potential to create a great job, so we invested everything we had and borrowed the rest to make the idea a reality.
"We had to look for the right cream first of all, something with the characteristics and properties of a firming cream.
"We then created a bra with a fabric made from a unique, patented microfibre textile with nanoparticles that contain retinol, ceramides, fatty acids, oleic acid and aloe vera. These are released by the bra directly onto the skin through contact. Each strand contains thousand of micro-capsules.
"The end result is a bra that moisturises, firms and tones the breasts."
The ingredients are incorporated into the fabric fibres during the spinning process.
Marisol said: "Our research from customers shows that 98 percent said they had softer breast skin, and 81 percent of the women said the skin was very smooth and elastic."
The name of the bra is the "Firming Bra" and it is available in several sizes, between 38 and 52, for 32 GBP with 30 percent discount on a second bra. It can be ordered online on the website La tienda en casa.
