Wife Demands Toy Builder Hubby Lego Of His Hobby

A Swedish man is lego-ing of his lifelong passion, in a hope that giving up his building block obsession will help him to rebuild his marriage.

He has put his 600 lb collection of Lego building blocks up for sale for 8,000 GBP in a bid to win back his wife.

The advert, posted on buy-sell site Blocket, quickly went viral after the man marked it as '300kg Lego - save my marriage' on the popular Swedish website.

"You can make a difference! Help me save my marriage. The old girl gave me the ultimatum last Friday: 'Get this s**t out'. I don't know if it was me or the Lego she was talking about, but I am hoping it was the Lego," the man from the town of Varberg, in western Sweden, wrote.

The offer, which is boxed in dozens of containers, weighs in at a hefty 300 kg plus another 20 kg for instructions.

Among the items up for grabs are several from the Lego Technic range, designed for more advanced builders, including the remote controlled excavator Volvo.

The man added that some boxes of his hobby have been stored in a basement in a dark and dry environment for a decade.
