Conchita Wurst tops the bill at Life Ball

Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst will join Ricky Martin, Courtney Love and Leona Lewis for this weekend's charity fundraiser the Life Ball in the Austrian capital Vienna.

Other guests expected to make the event are Life Ball regulars Elton John and Bill Clinton.

But it is Conchita who is expected to steal the show after she was invited to wrap up the Life Ball's fashion show with a performance of her winning ballad, Rise Like a Phoenix, accompanied by the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra.

"It's a very special feeling for me, and I am extremely happy," she said.

Conchita had already been preparing to sing at this year's 22nd Life Ball before her song contest win in Copenhagen earlier this month. But following her win her act has now been elevated to be the Grand Finale of the Fashion Show.

A day later on Sunday the singer will visit Austria's most famous flower festival, the Daffodil Festival in Ausseerland, in the Salzkammergut known as the Austrian Lake District.
